Bluesonde builds the water data and intelligence layer that helps humanity to adapt to climate challenges and meet growing demands. By making water data accessible and actionable, we empower communities, industries, and ecosystems to thrive in a changing world.
Background
Our team brings over a decade of experience in hardware innovation and leadership across space, energy, and medical sectors. We honed our skills at Running Tide, developing ocean monitoring systems aimed at enabling global scale carbon removal. Across multiple product generations and hundreds of deployed buoys, we learned how to deliver reliable, accurate data in some of the harshest environments on Earth.
Our Role in the Future
Bluesonde is advancing scalable monitoring for oceans, freshwater systems, and industrial waterways. By equipping organizations with the data they need, we enable responsible water management, sustainable operations, and climate resilience, providing the tools for smarter, more sustainable engagement with water.
Our Team
A decade at SpaceX, where he led engineering for Falcon 9 recovery hardware and Starlink satellite deployments, shaped how Andrew builds companies. Today he sets Bluesonde strategy and drives growth and commercial development. He brings deep experience building complex hardware products, engineering teams, and organizations.
Bluesonde operations and mechanical engineering run through John, spanning manufacturing, supply chain, and product development. He previously took medical devices from concept to production, leading multidisciplinary engineering teams and navigating complex regulatory requirements.
With more than a decade developing hardware and embedded systems across industrial monitoring, automated test equipment, and consumer electronics, Tim heads up technology development at Bluesonde. He also plays a key role in product strategy, marketing, and customer development.
From embedded firmware to cloud infrastructure, data systems, and the Bluesonde Dashboard, Ben owns the software stack. He has extensive experience deploying embedded systems in demanding field environments and building the full-stack software that puts their data to work.
