BlueTIDE Showcase Alley

Great day at Polaris Tech Bridge BlueTIDE in Newport last week!

Bluesonde joined Showcase Alley, where Andrew Thompson and Ben Mallett had great conversations about how our low-maintenance, real-time water quality monitoring platform could support a range of maritime and defense applications from coastal monitoring to new sensor payloads like hydrophones.

We also had a lot of interest in our UV antifouling technology, including potential applications beyond Bluesonde buoys for keeping other sensors and subsea equipment clean over long deployments.

And our buoy even got a ride around Newport Harbor. Fellow Braid Theory The Continuum company MarkSetBot (Robobuoy) towed a Bluesonde Buoy as part of a demonstration with Coastal Measures pulling in Bluesonde data into its CUMULUS ocean data platform.
