FATHOMWERX Coastal Trident Trial

From the Gulf of Maine to the Pacific. 🌊

Last week we traveled to California to connect with the blue economy community at Braid Theory's #IGNITE22, where we had the opportunity to meet fellow ocean technology companies, researchers, potential partners, and customers while demonstrating the Bluesonde Buoy.

From there, we headed to Port Hueneme for an exciting milestone: our first West Coast deployment.

Working alongside the FATHOMWERX team through the ANTX Coastal Trident 2026 program, this deployment will evaluate our integrated UV anti-fouling system in real coastal conditions. By reducing biological growth on sensors, we're extending deployment durations while maintaining high-quality water quality data with less maintenance.

This deployment marks another step in expanding the Bluesonde network beyond the Northeast and validating our platform across a wider range of coastal environments.
